Cat Forrest as Cleopatra, The Psychic Queen, in Season 2!

Cat Forrest who plays 'Cleopatra, the Psychic Queen' on 'The Smartlys' was recently interviewed by Susan J. Farese, SJF Communications.   

SJF: Tell us about your character in The Smartlys (both past and future seasons). 

CF: I played Philesha the Psychic Princess in the 2019 version of The Smartlys, back before the pandemic, when we filmed in front of a live audience.  

For the latest version of The Smartlys, in Season 2 (which is in development), my character is Cleopatra the Psychic Queen and I live in the SmartlyVille complex. 

I am very flamboyant and love to make people laugh.  I have had very similar characteristics in other parts. I am very flirty and be-bop around the apartment building always trying to cheer people up. 

I love vibrant colors, particularly hot pink and gold and always wear flowers in my hair. I am a psychic and come out with the most hilarious antics to keep peeps on their toes. 

One of the things that make me tick is passion, hence I wear a lot of purple. My favorite food is Italian which always spices things up. And I make great meatballs. 

SJF: What are three things about you we don’t know about ‘you’…(not your character)! 

CF: I take belly dancing and romp around with castanets! I also have an interest in kickboxing which eventually made me hurt my knees, But c’est la vie…I take many risks.

SJF: What compelled you to audition for The Smartlys? 

CF: I was compelled to audition for The Smartlys as I have played wild and crazy roles in the past and feel very comfortable stepping over my limits. 

SJF: Words of wisdom/advice for actors? 

CF: Words of wisdom to other actors…be more of yourself and have no boundaries. Tada!
